Are you playing musically?

Follow all dynamic markings for the best performance.

Correct Rhythm?

Are you holding notes for their appropriate length?

Be sure to count out loud!

Correct Articulation?

Was that note accented or staccato?

Verify that you are playing legato, staccato, or accented.

Correct Speed?

How fast or slow is this piece supposed to be played?

Check for tempo markings and use your metronome!

Repeats?

Did you perform all of the repeats appropriately?

Review the piece for repeats, 1st and 2nd endings, or D.C. al Fine.
