Policies and Procedures

Students may start at any time throughout the year.

Tuition and Payment

All lessons are taught out of my home in New Kensington.

Lessons are once a week and paid monthly in advance.

There is a $30 late fee for invoices not paid by the 15th of the month.

Lesson rates are as follows:

  • 30 minutes- $27

  • 45 minutes- $38

  • 60 minutes- $48

You may make payments through PayPal, Zelle, cash, or check.

Instrument requirement: A piano or flute is required to begin instrumental lessons. If your current instrument is not sufficient for continued development, it is required to upgrade to a sufficent instrument to continue lessons. If your child is a beginner, this will be by the end of the primer level. This may also be the case if your child has beend taking lessons for some time but are advancing beyond your current instrument. Time framce for this requirement and specfic details will be discussed as lessons progress.

Missed Lessons

  • Missed lessons can be rescheduled for another time throughout the week, if time is available.

  • If a lesson is missed with no notification or less than 24 hours prior, no refund or make-up lesson will be provided.

  • If notification is received 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled lesson time, a credit for the next month will be allotted or a make-up lesson will be provided.

  • If the instructor needs to cancel the lesson, it will either be re-scheduled or a credit will be given.

  • Lessons DO NOT follow the school calendar. If there is no school, it does not mean that there are no lessons. However, if your lesson happens to fall on one of the following Holidays, that lesson will become a make-up credit if I'm not able to reschedule it in the week.
